(Regarding the latter question, it appears to have downloaded a folder in appdata\local\packages, but that doesn't contain anything that seems useful to me.)

However, for the most recent font I got from the Microsoft Store (Convection) this has not worked. For the specific font in that instance, going to the fonts folder and clicking "Download fonts for all languages" downloaded the font I needed to the fonts folder, allowing it to be used by Inkscape. In the first thread, I posted a link to a microsoft support post I created that has a solution to the problem. Additionally, because there is no font file downloaded, the general solution to "right click and install a font for all users" is not an option.
